The Office of the Minister of State for Administrative Reform (OMSAR) is looking to engage behavioral scientists at different levels of seniority to support Lebanon’s public-sector reform agenda.
We are particularly interested in applying behavioral science to:
- Citizen compliance and engagement improving how citizens interact with government and increasing uptake and compliance.
- Change management and public-sector workforce transformation supporting civil servants through organizational change and encouraging the adoption of new ways of working.
- Technology adoption and digital transformation designing around how people actually behave to increase the uptake and effective use of digital public services and tools.
- Integrity and anti-corruption applying behavioral insights to strengthen integrity, reduce opportunities for misconduct, and improve institutional practices.
We are looking for candidates with academic backgrounds in behavioral science, behavioral economics, psychology, public policy, economics, law, or related disciplines, combined with practical experience in behavioral insights, nudging, experimentation and evidence-based policy design.
Experience working on public-sector reform, government transformation, digital government or institutional change is particularly valuable.
Opportunities are available for different experience levels, from emerging behavioral scientists to experienced practitioners and senior experts.
