The NACS 2020-2025 is subject to a comprehensive independent final evaluation designed to assess how effectively the Strategy has been implemented and how it has contributed to strengthening Lebanon’s national integrity system.
Functions :
The Anti-Corruption Unit ensures that national anti-corruption policies are translated into coordinated institutional action. It:
- Supports MACcom in monitoring strategy development, implementation, and reporting
- Supports TACcom in technical coordination, national reporting, and international compliance processes
- Coordinates implementation of the NACS across public institutions
- Manages progress reporting, evaluation, and strategic review processes
- Supports the preparation of updated and future national anti-corruption strategies
- Coordinates Task Teams and thematic working groups
- Facilitates stakeholder coordination with public institutions, civil society, academia, private sector actors, and development partners
