    • Elected member of the parliamentarian committees of Foreign Affairs as well as President of the Hydraulic and Electric Resources, Housing and Coops and - Public Works and Transport committees;
    • Elected member of the Higher Council for Prosecuting Presidents and Ministers;
  • 1994: Represented the Lebanese Parliament in the Conference of the Arab Parliamentarian Union and the European Parliament in Strasbourg and Paris;
  • 1995: Represented the Lebanese Parliament in the Conference of French Speakers in Quebec Canada.
  • 1996: Ran unsuccessfully for election to Parliament for the Aley District;
  • 2000: Headed the Aley-Baabda District List and was elected to Parliament as Deputy for the Aley District on the 27th of August 2000;
  • 2000: Appointed Minister of State for Administrative Reform in the Cabinet formed by Prime Minister Rafik Al Hariri.
